Renaming an inventory org

Hi there!

I have a requirement to rename an inventory org we have been using for more than 2 years to name it a generic way for customer consigned items.

My question here is- what are the implications of renaming an inventory org code, apart from any customization that might refer to the old inventory org code.

Also, is it recommended to change the inventory org?
