Get Primavera EPPM Version from Web Services

How to get the version number of the connected Primavera EPPM Server using Web Services, assuming that I do not know the version of the EPPM instance I am connecting to?

For example: If I am connecting to EPPM Version 18.8 then I need to retrieve the version number "18.8" programmatically using web services.

How can I do that? Which service should I call? Which operation of that particular service should I call? A sample code is also appreciated.
