Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. MOSC will now require that member accounts in our community be associated to a *corporate* email address. Is it better to create temp and undo with multiple datafiles or one datafile?

Is it better to create an undo tablespace with multiple datafiles or one large datafile? This is on rac, so there are 2 undo tablespaces.

What about temp? Is it better to user more or less datafiles or does it matter?
