I added XML Publisher Administrator responsibility from backend via API and now I am getting error

XML Publisher Administrator is not a valid responsibility for the current user. Please contact your System Administrator.

However this issue is addressed in
XML Publisher Administrator is not a Valid Responsibility for the Current User (Doc ID 1192054.1)

I checked this document and can see that my case is the first one listed in the cause section

Two possible cases :

1. The responsibility NAME is 'XML Publisher Administrator' where as its responsibility KEY is 'XDO_ADMINISTRATION'.
