Disk group called FLASH.

Hello, experts.

Environment:

ODA x7-2-HA

GI 12.2.0.1

RDBMS 11.2.0.4.160419

Questions:

How it is advisable to use disk group called FLASH (5x3.2TB SSD)?

We are going to put hot data files on it.

Can we use it for db flash cache? Or can it performs as an Exadata smart flash cache?

Please advise. Links to documentation are welcome.

PS

Because all ASM  diskgroups has lowest DATABASE_COMPATIBILITY=12.1.0.2, for our 11.2.0.4 database we are using ACFS.
