How to correct w2 with wrong SSN

Hi guys I'm looking for information on how to correct a w2 that has the wrong ssn on it.  Any help would be appreciated.  It is a new employee last year.  The w2 was generated with the wrong ssn.  So now need to correct the w2 and re-issue.  I was wondering if I needed to void this one and regenerate?
