Approach to identify the cause for PO Reschedule

Looking for the approach to identify the primary cause for PO reschedule. Users are seeing frequent reschedule messages for the purchase order. Business want to reduce the count on PO reschedule exceptions. I know there are multiple causes by which the PO is getting reschedule. But, is there any way to identify the culprit e.g., comparison of pegging information from last run to latest run. Please suggest.
