OPM Costing - PMAC for Raw Material Consumption

Hi All,

I am trying to understand how PMAC cost type works in OPM for raw material inventory valuation and consumption. Is the PMAC rate updated on a real-time basis depending on material receipt and issue transactions? Any material receipt transaction with different rate will update the PMAC rate on a real-time basis and it is applicable to subsequent issue transactions. This means issue rate can also vary depending on the PMAC rate available in the system at the time of issue.

Kindly confirm if my understanding is correct.
