R12.2.8 Autocreate - Error: Unexpected Error Occurred During Autocreate

Hello,

We recently upgraded our instance from R112.1.3 to R12.2.8.      The db is 12.1.0.2  on solaris 10  .   Applications is running in Solaris 10.          In this instance we ran into Autocreate error described in note Autocreate - Error: Unexpected Error Occurred During Autocreate (Doc ID 2378008.1)

As per the note, we started recreating the index.  However, it is running for more than 44 hours.  This script we ran is

$FND_TOP/sql/aflobbld.sql to recreate the index

Is there any known performance issue in creating this index ?
