Updating year end data with W-2c amounts

Hello, we are in HCM version 9.2, PT 8.55.21.  I've been asked why the amounts in Payroll for NA>US Annual Processing>Create W-2 Data>Review/Update Year End Data do not update when a W-2c is issued.  The Process Flag updates to a status of W-2c Issued but the amounts in the Tax Form Box Detail remain at the original W-2 amounts. Is that just the way it is or is there a process that updates that data? Thank you.
