Regimen Temporal vs Definitive and Pedimento Number

HI All,

We are implementing Enterprise JD Edwards for a Mexican Company and we came across that the inventory needs to be track by Regimen and Pedimento Number. As per Oracle documentation, they recommended to use the Lot/Serial Number field in F41021 to store the pedimento number but  I have not found anything for the Regimen. We were thinking to use the lot functionality (Lot 1 or Lot 2 fields in Lot Master table) to store the Regimen for only our Mexico sister company but I would like to know if this is something that you recommend to do or how you
