Have custom fields been incorporated into Strategic Sourcing?

It seems the selling point for custom fields is that they flow to downstream documents; however, we are not seeing any of these fields in Strategic Sourcing at all.  Requisitions, POs, Supplier Contracts all seem to include them but not SS events.
