How to identify that EBS 11i is installed.

My company is upgrading EBS from 11i to 12c on a Linux box. I have limited technical knowledge, but the DBA we have engaged to do the work says he cannot find EBS on the machine it is installed.  What do I look for to know it is installed?  NOTE: the EBS schemas share the same database as our application schemas.
