Is it possible to let user add new markups in unifier with Autovue when opening existing markups ?

For the current function, user could apply markups with below 2 ways:

1) open existing markups (the new ... option is not available in the Autovue menu bar)

2) add new markups (open..option is not available in the Autovue menu bar)

So the problem is, user unable to find a way to open existing markups and add new marksups base on the existing markups.

Is it possible to let user add new markups when they opening existing markups ? This is one critical test case for users.
