Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. Hi

Please help me answer the following question for a 12c RAC database

1. When using 'srvctl relocate service' to another node , what happens to existing connections. Does it force a disconnection ?

2 . For one of the database we have to use VIP instead of SCAN listener . In such a case does LOAD_BALANCE=ON in client connections have any effect ?
