remove effectivity items from PM activities

in Complex Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul - EBS (MOSC) Question

Dear All,

We have a requirement to remove 'effectivity' records from few 'PM ACTIVITIES' (as users are not going to use these activities further). There is possibility to remove these records one-by-one, but we are having around 860 effectivities in each PM activity and it is very tedious to do this one-by-one.

Is there any mass update tool to remove effectivities from activity?

Also, while removing few effectivities, it is giving error as 'There exists a Unit Maintenance Plan for this Item'. What is remedy for this?
