Opatch util cleanup

Oracle 12.1.0.2 SE-2

ASM, standalone, no RAC, no clustering

Trying to recover some disk space on the file system where oracle is installed.  ‘du’ tells me the biggest disk hogs are in $ORACLE_HOME/.patch_storage (Grid home)

A little googling pointed me to 550522.1 and the use of ‘opatch util cleanup’, but am puzzled with the results. First, we get this:
