edited Aug 25, 2020 6:00PM in Linux Operating System (MOSC) Question

after applying linux and oracle patches with oracleasm, reboot is loading oracleasm modules but not changing ownership to oracle:dba.  I can fix this manually - correcting the permissions, but I would like the reboot to do this.  What do I need to do to get the permissions changed accordingly?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Here is the messages from /var/log/oracleasm:

Thu Mar 14 11:59:06 Creating /dev/oracleasm mount point: /dev/oracleasm

Howdy, Stranger!
