TDE, VCS, crash recovery and ORA-28365 error message

Hello,

I'm working on a VCS (Veritas Cluster Server) two nodes configuration which is running 11.2 and 12.1 Oracle TDE (tablespace level) databases.

All databases were running on server #1 and during a crash simulation of this server, all databases switched to server #2 but some of them were unable to restart successfully. An "ORA-28365 wallet is not open" error message was generated during the startup crash recovery step. It seems only databases (11.2 and 12.1) where crash recovery was related to TDE data in redo logs had this problem (See alert.log extract below).
