JD E1 Version for developer ?

Greetings?

I am following a Oracle course on JD E1, I am having some problems at the time i develop, because i get some errors, so i reached out to the community

and i was told and showed documentation that said i cant develop in a JDE1 Standalone Demo  "Document  info",

So now i have the following questions:

1. Does this JD E1version for development, have an extra cost?

2. What are all the packages that i have to install to make this work in my development Machine?

3. If it has a price, how much does it cost??

Please,

Because i looked at the instalation manual and it doesn´t especify the software versions that have to download to get this working, and stuff, i hade alot of problems with that because i done everithing it said in the manual.
