ORA-00020: maximum number of processes (%s) exceeded

Hi All,

Recently our client organization have upgrade their database from 12.1.3 to 12.2.6. After we upgrade the machine we have experiencing with this error message ' ORA-00020: maximum number of processes (%s) exceeded '. Even though we have increased the count of the parameter in pfile but no use on this.

While we monitor our processes, most of the processes were inactive status which is related to weblogic server.

Is there any work around to overcome this issue.
