Item Master SRCE code

If I set SRCE code = 6, it says it will assign the serial number sequentially from next numbers.  Can anyone tell me which next numbers it is referring to?  I've looked at 40, 41, 42, 48 to no avail.

Also, would this same logic work if we set it up to use NN by CO/FY?
