DSI vs JDE Mobile applications

Hi All

Is there a generic guideline which would suggest whether we should go for DSI (dc Link)  as a solution or stick to JDE Mobile applications. For example we are working with a client who has considerable amount of field service work like maintenance of equipment, tracking of equipment, tracking progress completions etc. Would DSI hand held integration be a better robust solution or whether the same can be built using JDE Mobile applications.

Any inputs on this would help.
