Need info on what automated tool to use for recording and playing back RPM. MOS recommended Selenium

We are having issues finding an automated test tool that can record and playback on RPM. Currently we are using VUGEN 12.53 on some parts of the Retail system but unable to record and playback for RPM portion. Does anyone have any info, advice on how to access Selenium? All I know is what MOS stated that it was an open source test tool.
