Document sequence- can i create new document sequence for GL, payable ,Receivable & other applicatio

Hi Expert,

can I create/define new document sequence & can assigne for GL & payable application before start of the new financial year on production. is it have any concern can create on existing document seq. pertain to Fy-1819.
