Lot Expiration MMEJ What SO Date is Evaluated?

Testing lot expiration and trying to determine when and how the MMEJ is evaluated in the sales order process.

I'm wondering which date and when the sales order item is evaluated against the expiration for a given item?

Date(s) on the sales order, like PDDJ (scheduled pick) at order entry/soft commit?

Date of Hard Commit?

Date of Ship Confirm?
