Data integrity errors when creating project definition

We are in the process of upgrading from PeopleSoft 9.1 to 9.2 image 29 on Tools version 8.56.12 and have repeatedly incurred a series of what seems like random errors when creating new or maintaining existing projects via the project definition component (especially copying from a Template); on all of our test environments.  The error messages displayed are:

Data Integrity Error (124,85)

The data structure from the page does not match the data structure in the database.  This can be caused by a change in the record definition while you were viewing the page.  This is a non-recoverable error and the current transaction will be aborted.
