Oracle Mobile Timecard App Issues (1.7.3)

We are in the process of trying to implement Oracle's Mobile Timecard app. We downloaded for the Android mobile device platform from the Google Play Store. The public version did not work initially because of the included connection cert in app. We created a custom version of the app using a company specific cert. That's the only modification that was made. This allowed us to connect successfully to our Oracle applications server using the URL. We are able to enter a username and password and have it authenticated by the app. However, as soon as the username and password
