How to increase length of Attribute 1 -Project screen

Good  Morning,

We are using R12.1.3  projects module. We enabled  DFF   with ATTRIBUTE1 . System accepting with max of 105 char lenght. But  our project manager want it to be 500 char or more  to write the full project description in a SINGLE  FIELD

Can you please suggest how to handles this requirement.
