Performance Problems with CROSSCHECK BACKUP after Cisco AMP For EndPoint Running on Windows 2008R2 O

Greetings,

A recent Malware attack on our data center has resulted in Malware/Virus Scan software being turned on a Windows 2008R2 Oracle DB server running 11g - 11.2.0.3.  Since that time, our RMAN backup/maintenance has experienced a significant impact in performance - run times have increased significantly, especially for a CROSSCHECK BACKUP operation.  What used to run in a few minutes (under 10 minutes) is now taking from 6 to 8 hours to complete.  There are two databases on this Windows server and the Crosscheck is performed at the same time for each DB - daily during off hours at 5AM.  Of course, running/extending RMAN execution during core business hours from 8AM to 5PM can impact the overall performance of the DB and I need to get some resolution to this problem.

Howdy, Stranger!
