Possibility to check length of Asset Number Description for Chinese characters

Hello all,

I would like to ask if there is some possibility how to check data before uploading to application. We implement new Chinese site and in UAT we met with problem that Asset Number Description was too long. I cannot check it with Excel because Chinese character takes more than 1 "char". When I insert it to application, it takes 2 characters but I cannot uploaded due API although it should. I would like to find some system how to check data before uploading, if they have appropriate name. Is there any possibility how to check it?
