Prompt Users to Identify Quality Controlled Items During Requisition Creation

Hello,

Our business requires that vendors have a quality certification in place in order to provide certain items/services at our production site.  We are trying to determine if there is a way to:

  • Prompt users during the requisition creation process in iProcurement to confirm if the requisition item to be ordered may be covered by the quality requirement (could be a item or non-catalog request)
  • Allow the iProcurement user to 'flag' the requisition line so that purchasing sees and can confirm that any supplier selected meets the quality requirement (during the PO creation process)

I realize that we may be limited to using sourcing rules/approved supplier lists to direct these purchases according to item/commodity, but I was just wondering if there is a way to start the process further upstream in the order creation?

Howdy, Stranger!
