Portal Audit log file stop updating

We enabled portal audit logs by following the steps in:

1. run WLS;

2. connect to adminServer;

3. setAuditPolicy(componentType="webcenter",filterPreset="Medium")

4. restart portal servers

We can see the audit_1_0.log was created under auditlogs/webcenter/

after a while, the audit_1_0.log stop updated. not sure what caused the issue.

restart admin and managed servers, still has the issue.

Any idea what could caused the issue?
