How are others handling CA specific timekeeping/pay requirements?
We are currently handling the following items manually, but as our California population grows, we would like to automate. Therefore, we'd like to hear from other customers as to what they have done.
Meal Periods - if an employee does not get their full 30 minute meal break (unless they waive it), they should get paid for that time. (California Labor Code, Section 512: If your employer fails to provide the required meal period, you are to be paid one hour of pay at your regular rate of compensation for each workday that the meal period is not provided.)
