Selective Data Masking of Direct Deposit Numbers

We implemented masking for direct deposit accounts using Payroll for NA Installation (INSTALLATION_PY), and it successfully masks the account number.

We need certain staff to still be able to view the whole account number.

This page on Implementing Sensitive Data Masking suggests that the number can be unmasked for specific users via Authorized Roles.

Neither the Authorized Roles page (HCSCM_AUTHROLE) or Setup Component Level Masking page (HCSCM_COMP_CONFIG) have any effect on how the number appears. It stays masked no matter what. I've also tried a number of roles with no success.

Is it possible to unmask the direct deposit number for specific users? Is there another page I need to be using?
