QUESTION ---> Can Tommy Reynolds address this?

====================

How do I increase the number of files of the inodes, on my NFS, on Oracle Linux Server release 6.9 ( 4.1.12-94.3.6.el6uek.x86_64)?

My NFS filesystem (/nas/4), when running RMAN backup (Standalone), we are getting, in the RMAN log and the OS messages, for same incident time frame, the errors:

"ORA-27072: File I/O error, ORA-27052: unable to flush file data, Linux-x86_64 Error: 122: Disk quota exceeded"?

Please note:  This is not a RMAN Issue. <<<<

Issue:  Linux-x86_64 Error: 122: Disk quota exceeded   <<<<< OS level

1)  In the RMAN log (ah57sdcla00051):

RMAN-03009: failure of backup command on ORA_DISK_1 channel at 04/04/2019 10:26:22  ----------> HERE

Howdy, Stranger!
