Asset Cost Distribution Combo Edit Issue

Within LA when we add an asset we get a 'Combo Edit Error'.  There is absolutely no way to get them to work.  Here is what Oracle constantly says

1. Change Asset Combo Edit from 'Reject' to 'Warning' AM Business Unit-Book page.  This is not an acceptable solution

2. Remove the combo rules -- Not an acceptable solution

3. Add additional combo rules that will allow same department/operating/product chartfields values for all accounts (Interest, Obligation, Incentive) etc.

Oracle keeps saying that the combo rules are only validated against the Fixed Asset account which is not 'TRUE'.   Oracle support keeps closing the support tickets saying 'solution provided' without actually providing a solution.
