Report Printing Issue- Printer Output Different Than PDF Output

We've updated a custom built report to have 13 lines instead of 10 , upon printing the PDF file is as it should be with all the alignments and positioning but on print as you can see in the attached image the details are being grouped into 2 or sometimes 3 lines leaving empty spaces between them .

Anyone has encountered the below issue ?
