Oracle 12.2 GI RAC was deployed successfully on RHEL 7.5 3.10.0-862.6.3.el7.x86_64 and later it got

Oracle 12.2 GI RAC was deployed successfully on RHEL 7.5 3.10.0-862.6.3.el7.x86_64 and later it got update to 7.6  3.10.0-957.1.3.el7.x86_64 after GI deployment and its still working fine.

Now we are trying to deploy 12.2 GI on other RHEL 7.6  3.10.0-957.1.3.el7.x86_64 but it throws error that "ASMFD is not supported on this platform". Its working fine against 18c which was validate as test but to maintain consistency we want to deploy 12.2 and then upgrade all GIs to 18c.

Does this mean we cannot update OS release from 7.5 --> 7.6 and kernel from 862 to 957 since ASMFD is not yet certified on latest kernel release ?
