Storage rule Customization in WCC 12C

Hi All,

We've a requirement like below, please let me know about the feasibility.

Currently our vault and weblayout directory is configured to NAS drive, In coming days NAS will be replaced by SAN drive.

As the data volume is going to increase so customer wants to keep the recent data in SAN drive and move the 2-5 years data in NAS drive, in this way both the data will be searchable. So, basically NAS will be using as an archived data store. This documents will be searched from IPM applications.

Now how to define the two different storage rule? Any chance of corruption of Weblayout files/indexing while moving data to different storage based on data age ?
