Siebel eMedia IP2015 Auto Save feature

Siebel Auto Save feature - Are there options to indicate to the users before the save automatically happens, when a user steps off the record. This will avoid accidental changes to get saved.

Scripts to pop up message to users is always an option, but I want to know if there are other implementation that can achieve the similar result.
