Online Payslip - Pay Information, amounts not reflective of each period

Hello - I am looking for information on the "Pay Information" on the online payslip. This section is just below the employee's name and the amounts don't change when querying previous pay periods.

I honestly don't remember this section and think it is new, but I can't find any info on it.

I am looking for documentation to understand this section, and why amounts are reflective of the current check date
