Uncosted Payroll Element Entry

Is there anyway to identify if there is an element on a payroll payment, such as a deduction, that does not get picked up in the Costing process? Occasionally, an element entry is end dated after the element is withheld on a payroll check, and before the Costing process is run. As a result, the element is withheld but it is not costed. All other elements on the payroll payment are costed except for the one that is end dated. The only way we’re able to identify the uncosted element is through a tedious reconciliation process.
