Unable to purge large trace files

Hi All,

In one of our environment 12.2.0.1 database produces large number of trace file in GB, its keep on try to update the same trace file.

I have set the adrci size policy to purge the trace files which are above 5gb in size, but it could not delete the file.

XXXX_ora_15697.trc 12gb size

I have tried the manual purging, it's not clearing the purge command which is more than 1gb ongoing files.

adrci> show home

ADR Homes:

diag/rdbms/xxxx/XXXX

adrci>purge -size 1073741824
