How do I know if a firmware release requires a prerequisite release?

Hi, I have an Oracle Server X7-2.  The firmware needs to be updated.  I downloaded the latest and read the readme.  I cannot find where it says I do or do not need firmware prerequisites.  For ILOM, I have,

ILOMILOM Firmware4.0.2.20.b
BIOSSystem BIOS

41021300

I found this,
