Logic in derivation on receipt application GL Date

Please can we have the details & logic involved in receipt application GL Date. As you have seen from the below we are applying the receipt today but GL date defaults to 04/09/2019

in the receipt header the receipt date 03/20/2019 and gl date is 03/23/2019. We have left some receipt unapplied earlier and applying it today. The receipt applicatinoGL date instead of today's date is taking as 04/09/2019. Please let us know the setup involved to default the receipt application GL date to system date or application date.
