Modify PO Approval Route - Email trigger

Hello,

Can someone please clarify the existing functionality?

Person A modified the PO Approval Route by changing existing person B to person C. Please note that Person A did not modify PO 1234 which is awaiting PO approval.

System triggers an email to Person C for approval but from Person A who actually modified PO Approval Routes but not from the original PO requestor. Should not the system trigger email from the original requestor?
