how catalog backups from tape? Do not use CATALOG. Dont Know bacppieces handles

I found this solution at MOS

catalog device type 'SBT_TAPE' BACKUPPIECE 'xxxxxxx'

But i don't use a catalog and don't know the archived logs'  backuppieces handles. I have restored a controlfile backup, so i need to catalog all backuppieces wroted to SBT_TAPE.

Please, Cant anybody  help me?
