OBIEE 11g BI Publisher Edit Total Cell to add a formula.

Is there any way to create a formula in a total cell for a column?

I have a BI Publisher report that has a MTD Variance column and a MTD Budget Amount column I need to get the grand total of the variance %.

I tried to create a formula in the total of that column using the Formula Function - Division see screen print attached to this conversation.

Taking the MTD Variance divided by the MTD Budget Amount to get the MTD Variance % but when I try to save the formula I get this error.

This formula is not valid for the selected component.
