Task workflow triggers from UWQ

does the task dispatch workflow triggers from UWQ.

What would be mandatory setups for this? From SR when created a task the workflow triggers. But when a task is assigned from UWQ it is not triggering the workflow so not sending any email notification. What can be missing here.
